After a traumatic marriage break up my self esteem was at an all time low. I decided I needed to do something drastic to start the healing process and to feel better about myself, so I just made the phone call and booked myself in. What an awesome experience. After choosing my photos I was on a high for days and felt incredible. I really believed I was a beautiful woman, inside and out, and any man would be lucky to have me, I still do. For the first time in four months I lifted my head up and looked around and realised I had a fantastic life ahead of me and my confidence has not waned since. Don’t wait for something traumatic to happen, or your self esteem to take a battering, just do it anyway, you deserve it and it will be the best thing you have ever done for yourself. James won "Overall Best Print", "Best Print - Landscape" and "Print handlers award". His breath taking image was taken during a journalistic photographic tour of Bangladesh. "I have an urge to tell people's stories through photography which often finds me in unique places and lead to my photojournalistic tour of Bangladesh. I was fascinated by the culture of the developing nation. People were so accommodating and warm and have a huge amount of heart. I was particularly intrigued by the Khasi tribe who despite their cycle of poverty, were so resilient and have such a strong community so that no one goes hungry" said James. Congratulations James!
